How the App Works

The Proudly Human app is run by 23 First Corporation trading as Proudly Human Corporation. Here's what it does:

• You search for a book or scan its barcode
• We check if it's Proudly Human certified
• You see the results (and your search history stays on your phone for convenience)

That's it. No accounts, no tracking.

What We DON'T Collect

Seriously, we don't collect anything about you:

About the Camera

If you want to scan a book barcode, the app will ask to use your camera. Here's what happens:

• It's optional – You can just search by title instead
• Stays on your phone – The barcode is read right on your device
• Nothing is saved – We don't store or send any images anywhere
• You're in control – Turn it off anytime in your phone settings

What About Book Searches?

When you search for a book, we look it up in our database to tell you if it's certified. Here's what happens with that data:

• Stored on your phone – Your search history is saved locally on your device for your convenience
• Never tracked – We don't track, monitor, or store your searches on our servers
• You can clear it – Delete your search history anytime within the app settings

The searches stay on your phone and are never linked to you or transmitted beyond the initial lookup.

Third-Party Stuff

We don't use any third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising services. There are no Facebook pixels, Google Analytics, or any other tracking tools in the app.

Safe for Everyone

Since we don't collect any personal information from anyone, the app is completely safe for users of all ages, including kids.

Security

Even though we don't collect your data, we still keep things secure. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted to protect the certification information we provide.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Since we don't have your email or any way to contact you (see above!), just check back here if you're curious.
