Our Commitment to Authors

At Proudly Human Corporation we recognize that your manuscript is a piece of your heart and soul laid bare after years of courage, doubt, and relentless honesty. Every page carries the weight of what it cost you to write it, and we promise to treat it with the utmost care and respect.

Proudly Human certifies your work as human-authored by reviewing your manuscript. This is limited to initial verification of human authorship followed by post-publication integrity checks based on eBook version comparisons to confirm that there are no fundamental changes. We will never use your work for AI training or any purpose other than verification of human authorship.

1. We require access to your manuscript for an initial authenticity check to verify it qualifies as human-authored under our standards.
2. We will never use your text, or any derivative or excerpt, for training, fine-tuning, or improving any artificial intelligence model, whether internal, third-party, or future-developed.
3. We will never generate summaries, edits, derivative works, marketing copy, or any other content based on your publication ready text.
4. We will never share your manuscript with any third party except under non-disclosure agreements for anonymized verification, and only as necessary for the certification process.
5. If your book passes verification, we issue a license for you to use the ProudlyHuman™ certification mark; this grants no ownership or further rights over your work to us.
6. You may withdraw your submission and request destruction of your manuscript and any temporary files at any time before certification is finalized, or request deletion post-certification with revocation of the mark if desired.
7. If your application is approved and you receive certification, your manuscript will be stored securely for five years with access restricted to two employees of Proudly Human Corporation. This is to ensure that any controversy regarding authorship can be fully investigated using the text of the book at the time of approval.
8. Post-publication, we conduct periodic integrity checks to confirm the published version closely matches the verified original; for eBook publications, we require access to the eBook file for a comparison. These checks ensure no fundamental changes such as AI rewrites or substantial alterations have occurred, protecting the integrity of your human-authored certification.
9. If your application is not approved, then the text will be stored for six months prior to being securely deleted. This is to assist you should you want to appeal the outcome of the application.
