About the artist
Gorgeous colours, calming waters, nature and terrific people are what I enjoy painting. I love looking at a speck of curiosity amongst a piece of interest.
About the work
This is the Boort Pool, a place of solace over our hot summer days. We gather to chat and dance in the water.
Inspiration
This is a large piece, full of water. This colour calms and cools our home on a hot day.
Process
Acrylic on ply board
The people were marked after the initial blue water was loosely brushed over the entire board. The people’s dimensions were built from human body average measurements. The colours based on the 3 primary’s.
